Fixed scope, fixed price, honest results
Every package below states what it excludes as clearly as what it includes. That is deliberate: unbounded scope is how good projects turn bad for both sides.
Pine Script Build
Your rules, coded as a TradingView indicator or strategy.
$150
2–4 days
One indicator or strategy, built from rules you supply.
Includes
- Pine Script v5/v6, commented so you can edit it yourself
- Every threshold exposed as an input, so you can tune it without me
- Alerts configured and tested
- One round of revisions
Not included
- Strategy design
- Backtest analysis
- Broker automation
Strategy Validation Report
A Python backtest of your rules, built to find the ways your edge could be fake rather than the ways it looks good.
$400
5–8 days
One strategy, up to 3 markets, one timeframe.
Includes
- Python backtest across your chosen markets and timeframe
- Realistic fills — spread and commission charged, ambiguous bars scored against the strategy
- Lookahead-bias audit — the number one reason backtests lie
- Optimistic and pessimistic fill assumptions, both reported
- Per-market, per-setup and per-session breakdown
- Parameter sensitivity sweep — edge, or curve fit?
- Win rate reported next to breakeven win rate
- Plain-English written report, including what the results do not prove
Not included
- Strategy invention
- Live deployment
Stated up front: if the edge isn't there, the report says so. That is what you are paying for.
Full Build & Validate
Both of the above, plus the work of turning a discretionary method into testable rules.
$900
2–3 weeks
One strategy, Pine + Python, up to 3 markets.
Includes
- Everything in Pine Script Build and Strategy Validation Report
- Your discretionary method converted into precise, falsifiable rules
- Pine Script and Python implementations, verified to agree with each other
- Webhook and alert wiring for automated execution, if you want it
- 30 days of follow-up questions
Not included
- Account management
- Trade signals
- Investment advice
Hourly work
$45 / hour
For open-ended debugging and ongoing work where the scope genuinely can’t be pinned down in advance. For anything that can be scoped, fixed price is better for both of us — you know the number, and I’m not billing you for my learning curve.
There’s no checkout button for this one, because I’m not going to sell you hours before we’ve agreed what they’re for. Tell me what you need and I’ll send an invoice.
Scope rules
- Revisions cover bugs and stated requirements, not new ideas. New ideas are a new order.
- Rules must be specified in writing before work starts. “I’ll know it when I see it” is not a specification.
- Price is paid up front at checkout. If I decide your project isn’t a fit, you get a full refund the same day.
- No promise of profitability, ever. I am paid to build and to measure, not to make the strategy win.
Honesty runs both ways
Work I turn down
Saying this publicly costs me some enquiries and saves both of us a bad engagement.
“Make me a bot that makes $500 a day.” That is a request for a money printer, not for code.
Anyone who won’t put their rules in writing.
Managing accounts, funds, or telling you what to buy. That is regulated activity and I don’t do it.
Anyone who wants the strategy to be profitable more than they want it tested honestly.
